Romesh Persaud, Chair

Romesh wanted to give back to the Camrose community in a positive manner, so when he saw the need for board members he submitted his name. He has had numerous volunteer roles over the last 35 years, including Chief of Timing at the Lake Louise World Cup. Romesh retired in 2017 after 39 years working for the Alberta Solicitor General.
During his career he obtained degrees from Mount Royal College, the University of Alberta Business School and retired as a senior manager. He lives on his wife’s family homestead farm near Miquelon Lake. He enjoys spending time at Silver Creek golf course during the summer where he also volunteers as a Player’s Assistant. He currently serves our board as Chair.
